Publisher's Summary

Malek and Halleigh were once innocent high school sweethearts, but their lives changed drastically when they were separated by tragic circumstances and sucked into life on the streets.

Now Malek has risen to the top of the drug empire and is running things after Jamaica Joe’s murder. His rival, Sweets, has left town, so Malek has things under control on both the South Side and the North Side.

When Halleigh finally escapes from the clutches of Manolo, her pimp, she and Malek are reunited. For a while, things are running smoothly, and Halleigh and Malek are like well-respected hood royalty—until Halleigh grows bored with her life hidden safely away in the suburbs.

She ventures into Flint and meets up with her old drug-using partner, convincing him to enter the new rehab facility—the same place that’s cutting into Malek’s business by helping his customers get sober. To make matters worse for Malek, Sweets has returned and wants to take over his side of town again.

As he struggles to hold onto his reign at the top, will Malek be able to keep Halleigh out of the crossfire?

good book but....

the series is a real good series to listen too, but I do not like how the author is stringing us along making us purchase all these different books when it should only be two books total. after this series I probably will never purchase another treasure Hernandez book

Irritated WAY TO SHORT

So, I was trying to give another author a try. The storyline is interesting BUT I’m not feeling all these short stories basically. I’ve read/listened to them in order & this could’ve been 1 or 2 books at the most. It makes me feel cheated, not sure if I’ll purchase this author again. Next, Hollie is way to dependent on Malek, she needs to get involved in something school, doing nonprofit work, growing and expanding her knowledge is what I’m hoping to hear at some point in this storyline

Prostution , drugs, love, loyalty

I really enjoyed “Flint” series of books. There are several books in this series. I was just so intrigued. If you love a tale of murder, mystery, love, loyalty, deceit, despair, and friendship, then these are the books for you.I laughed and I cried. Certain events in this book touched home and some things I was familiar with. It is very hard to have loved ones on drugs. If they aren’t mentally strong enough, then it will consume them. I loved that this book is action packed and has so many cliff hangers. It will keep you hanging on to your seat. You will keep going back. These are phenomenal books and I approve the reading of these books.

No words

I was very upset with this book. First it was to short. Also they have Haleys character just plain stupid. I mean I was really hoping that she would grow and get a back bone as the series continue. Then Malak he turned out it to be nuts also. Malak trusted Mitch witch was stupid, he didn't even know him that well. Poor TAsha could not walk away from selling herself. Well hopefully the next book is better.
