Publisher's Summary

Hero or villain? Gentleman or traitor?

What if your life depended on discerning one man's character?

He wants to honor his family legacy.

Fitzwilliam Darcy takes his responsibilities seriously. He excels in every endeavor he pursues and upholds the highest standards, and he has little patience for those who flaunt their flaws like the Bennets do.

She wants to fall in love with a hero.

Elizabeth Bennet longs for the toe-curling romance she reads about in novels. She dreams of an honorable man - loyal and generous to the less fortunate...everything Mr. Darcy is not.

Now, he's England's most wanted criminal, and she's stuck with him.

Besieged by highwaymen and left for dead in a snowstorm, Mr. Darcy seeks help only to get arrested for treason. A split-second decision forever attaches Elizabeth to his side, and together, they're on the run.

When adversity reveals their true character, will Elizabeth regret her decision? Or will she find her hero in Mr. Darcy? Can such a rigid, proper man return the passion she craves?

Fitzwilliam Darcy, Traitor is a sweet and clean romantic suspense variation of Jane Austen's timeless classic, Pride and Prejudice. It's the first book in the Dimensions of Darcy series of stand-alone novels.

If you like swoon-worthy romance and pulse-pounding action, then you'll love this book!

Amazing

First, this audio is extremely well read by an easy voice to listen to. Stevie adds life to the book without any distraction from the plot. 5 stars plus.

Next, this book is from on of my favorite P&P fanfic authors, and believe me, she did not disappoint at all. Wowza.

This is a clean read, which is important to me, but you can still feel the icy relationship turn to fire.

This beginning Darcy is self-righteousness and hard to like but still lovable somehow. By the end, he is perfect. Elizabeth also grows and chat he’s throughout.

There is angst, but it doesn’t overwhelm. There is mystery, but it is not hidden for too long. The real ‘mystery’ is how they’re going to fight the deck that’s stacked against them, even as they fall deeply in love.
I finished the audio Tuesday and am getting ready to listen to it again this afternoon as I play taxi to my kiddos.

I can’t give this author and this story enough stars. I highly recommend.

Captivating

Jennifer Joy has done it again. This story is quite captivating. Wickham is even more villainous than he is normally portrayed which is of course what drives the whole storyline by having ODC try to maneuver themselves out of the trouble Wickham caused.

Stevie Zimmerman is brilliant as always.

It will be what you’ll be expecting

It is what the cover says. Fanfiction, a little cheesy (so so cheesy I blushed of the cheesiness), clever enough to not be boring and a tad too lax on society’s rules. A not bad way to spend the weekend but not something that requires much thought at all.

It’s a clean romance so no prudish review this time.

Engaging variation

Full of twists and turns this variation will have you cheering for Darcy and hoping Elizabeth is very clever to out wit forces working against them. This book moves at a perfect speed to be very engaging. Mrs. Bennett is bolder than ever and unwittingly puts her daughters on the path of danger. You're sure to enjoy this book and the narration is superb!
