Hayden and Jessica

I am enjoying this series about characters who are a little more mature and therefore have pasts which have consequences on their futures. Jessica and Hayden are both survivors of a difficult divorce.

But when they meet, they discover they are made for each other and are true mates, but will they risk their hearts again? Their road to happiness isn't easy; there are many obstacles to face. Still, along the road, they will face not only problems and difficulties they will also find their way to each other.

The storyline flows well and has some unexpected twists, problems and disasters, but there is also humour and chemistry; the plot was fantastic. I loved the characters, they were all likeable and totally relatable! The story moved along at a fast pace and held my interest all the way through. It's something of an emotional rollercoaster listen, which didn't lag! I love the heat and the chemistry shared by Hayden and Jessica.

The narration is performed by the very talented Elle Sonali, who always delivers!

I have not listened to one of Meg Ripley's audible stories until now. The story was great. Just when I started to become a little bored with it, there was a twist in it that made it so I couldn't stop listening to it. The beginning of the story had me laughing out loud too. All-in-all, it was good.

Jessica and Hayden come together in a unique way she is his sons nurse after an accident some news comes to light and they have to battle a former patient niece to save the world at large afterwards they get a very happy ending

Firefighter Midlife Wolf book 11 in Shifter Nation: Marked Over Forty series by Meg Ripley is a great slow burn, second chance romance. This story flows seamlessly and I couldn't stop reading/listening. The characters are well-written and very likeable. Elle Sonali does a fantastic job bringing the story to life and voicing the characters. Recommend!
