Shifter Romance

What a book. It had a wide range of drama in this one. First is shifter equality, he's a bear she's a fox. Then keeping secrets involving family.
Once you start it you will not what to stop til it's done.

Loved This Book

I absolutely loved listening to this book and the entire series so far and I can't wait for more from this author. J.K. Harper and Beth Roeg did an amazing job bringing the characters to life

The Hotshot firefighter and the foxy bar keep

The story of Everly the fox shifter and bar keep and Slade the firefighter and Grizzly is complicated by secrets about Everly's brother and the prejudice of some shifters about foxes which although predators are a lot further down the chain than Grizzlies. The love story is fairly straightforward which is one of the things I really like about JK's stories. The rest of the book covers the prejudices and secrets. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the previous book about Haley and Cortez, but it was still entertaining and well worth a listen. I really want to visit the fictional town that they live in.
As always, Beth did an excellent job as narrator.

The fox and her bear

This series just keeps getting better with each addition and we still get to visit with the previous couples. I loved Slade and Everly though there were times I wanted to knock some sense into them both. Thankfully that didn’t last long. I liked how Every stood up for herself and knew what some of the other shifters were doing was wrong and didn't sugar coat it. I was pleased as she found more confidence and stood up for herself. She was amazing and so was her bear even if Slade was an idiot a few times. I also loved her family I hope to see more of these two in later books.
