Taz & Kai!!!

Fire for Effect is a fast-paced, emotional, heart-melting love story. The twists were shocking and the family dynamics hit deep. Kai “Griff” Griffith is a special forces operative with a heart of platinum. Trinity “Taz” Guerro is a former Army Ranger and lovable bad bish. How Molly’s writing can make me clench my jaw and cackle in an intense chapter is fascinating. I’m obsessed with Molly Briar’s storytelling and smitten with the entire Cerberus team.

Molly Briar and Jack Hill were incredible in their performances of Taz and Kai! Jack spectacularly portrayed
the jaded operative who has proven he will dive into death’s path to save his best friend. I melted for Kai when I first read Fire for Effect, and Jack delivered our book husband, Kai, perfectly. The craft and care Molly pours into her characters dazzles me every time, especially when she brings that passion to the booth in her narrations. These characters jump off the page and captivate through every twist and turn of this he-falls-first, friends-to-lovers romantic suspense audiobook!

Small town military romance

The way Molly created the characters, Taz and Kai, was perfection! You will be swooning in no time.

The FMC, Taz, is strong headed and determined. She has overcome so much in life. But she is a kick@$$ character.

Now Kai is that obsessive and possessive MMC we all fall in love with every single time. Him and the FMC butt heads and their banter is perfection.

Again, Taz is a spitfire and does not take well to Kai telling her what to do. Kai and Taz have this relationship that neither one of them have discussed what exactly is going on between them. But Kai is done holding back.

Audio Review
Jack and Molly NAILED these characters! The two of them together brought them to life and it was amazing. I have listed to several books Molly has narrated now and a couple from Jack, LOVE them both.

Amazing work!

I ARC read the book and loved it but the audio?! The audio is AMAZING! Jack and Molly did a fantastic job! I was so invested and tuned in! I did not want to stop listening. The audio book hits differently! Hearing real people narrate a book makes it feel so real.. I loved it! I always liked Taz! She is a savage lol.. When she met her dad and seeing how protective he was, that tore my heart but it made me happy that she finally got to see her father. So much action and chaos, I love it.. Good amount of spice too!

Amazing

This book had me ensnared from the very beginning! Molly knows how to tell a story, and she did not disappoint with this one. With all the twists and turns throughout this book I struggled to put it down and found myself reading every chance I got. I can't wait for the next book she writes! This book was also expertly narrated.

Action Packed Friends to Lovers

I loved the story line and the duet narration for this book was sensational. The chemistry that Jack Hill and Molly Briar bring to life almost melted my phone. When I read this book I adored the juxtaposition and dynamics between Trinity "Taz" Guerro and Kai “Griff” Griffith, and hearing that dynamic brought to life added another dimension to this already amazing book and the banter will leave you laughing out loud.
