Publisher's Summary

Lucifer’s daughter rises!

Faith Kennedy’s off-the-grid, quiet life ends when her mother dies of cancer. Before her mother succumbs to the disease, she tells Faith who her father is.

The revelation terrifies Faith more than the thought of the state foster care system.

When Tom and Bridget Ryan step into the state home for girls, the course of Faith’s life changes yet again. With a new, less frightening future offered, Faith jumps at the chance to live in the light despite her newly found talents.

However, word that the devil’s daughter lives brings out dark supernatural entities, and each and every one of them either wants to control her or kill her.

Great start to a series

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook, especially Lucifer's daughter who ended up being a kickass. Her life changes after her mother died and reveales who her father is. What luck LOL! Anyway I received a copy of this audiobook from StoryOrigin for my unbiased review and enjoyed it thoroughly!

Awesome start to a series

Faith at the end of her mother's life is finally told the truth, her father, was not who she was told. She was the daughter of Lucifer himself. Her mother always lived off the grid, and she doesn't know what to do. All she knew was that her mother was gone and she was being forced to go with the Child Services people to go to a state foster care system. She has a gift that start to be discussed in the start but I will let new readers find out by reading it themselves. This was just in the start of the book, and it pulled me in completely, I loved it all, the pace of the book. The narrator did a great job giving each character a different voice and she goes at a good pace. She helps draw you into the story even in the humorous areas makes you smile with the tones she gives. I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving am honest review

A Captivating Story

This story pulls you in almost from the first word. The story is masterfully written with both the world and characters given full flesh with no breaks that make for inconsistency or a feeling of missing something. The second I finish writing this review I'll look for the next book

Good story

Quick paced, good characters, great story line. A girl obvious to her own gift of fire must fight to save earth. Demons, fire, love, death, lions, devil. I want to read the next book and find out what happens next. Worth reading. I listened through Audible. Wonderful narration.

Good Premise - Not a Standalone

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and any opinions expressed herein are my own. When I received this book, I thought it was the first book in the Fire Cursed Trilogy. It really isn't. There are a number of other books which provide a background for this series with overlapping characters. I often felt that I was left out of multiple events/backgrounds for characters referenced during the story and kept thinking there was more to this story. Additionally, this is not a standalone book - for the reasons mentioned previously and it ends on a cliffhanger. I really liked the premise of this book - Faith's father is actually the devil. She is also now discovering all sorts of magical powers and a world full of demons. This is really well-written and action-packed. I did get a bit tired of the repeated teenage sexual angst between Alex and Faith.
