Publisher's Summary

Happily ever after is just what Felicity is searching for, but she never dreamed Officer Russo could fulfill that wish.

USA Today bestselling author Heather B. Moore welcomes you to Pine Valley!

Felicity Miner is not normally an anxious person, and she’s been on her own since high school. But after a shoplifter steals from her bookshop, she calls the cops. When Officer Leo Russo shows up, Felicity has to tell herself that just because the romance novel she’s been reading has a hero police officer doesn’t mean she needs to project her imagination onto the real man. Yes, Officer Russo is unexpectedly generous, and he helps make Felicity’s home more secure when her worries won’t settle down. But the more Felicity is around Officer Russo, the more she imagines a future between them. Is he merely doing his duty, protecting and serving the citizens of Pine Valley, or is there potential for something more?

Great story and narrator!

I had read this book before and really enjoyed it. The narrator took it to the next level. The emotions portrayed with the narration helped me visualize the story even more.

Love Pine Valley!

I love this Series! Always Good, Clean, Wholesome Romance. Officer Leo Russo and Felicity Miner have obstacles of their own to deal with before they can be each other's present. Love the way the narrator brings it to life too! Highly recommend this Pine Valley Series!

A sweet romance for a stressful commute.

It’s not often that I wish my drive was longer, but with Finding Us, I did! It is a sweet romance that calmed me as I faced the slow moving traffic during rush hour. I even found myself not dreading my drive home because I had a good book to look forward to!

Sweet story, wonderful audio

This story checks all the boxes...dog from a shelter, man in uniform, emotional angst, and sweet love. This is the first book I’ve read/listened to from this author and I’m excited to dig into the rest of the series. The performer was exceptional and made the characters even more vibrant.

Finding Us

An excellent book! I always enjoy Heather Moore's books. She resolves quickly rather than have the problems, confusions our misunderstandings drag out which I hate!! She is also very clean.

A lovely relationship development romance

(Whispersynced between the audio & kindle versions)

A very sweet story. Felicity feels dysfunctional & in need of healing. Leo is a fixer. Thankfully there's more to their relationship than her neediness though.

In fact, her problem is really the opposite - she hasn't been able to depend on anyone to meet her emotional needs in her life so she isn't comfortable making herself vulnerable by needing someone.

Leo is used to women who use him & take rather than give. Felicity is giving, unassuming & undemanding. They are an excellent fit for each other. If Felicity can overcome her fear of emotional intimacy.

The "ooh he's hot" theme was a bit overdone, especially with the trampy women openly throwing themselves at him even while he was with Felicity. Normal women, even sleazy desperate ones, aren't quite that obvious as it's too likely to repel the guy. At least in my experience. The only time I've seen something so blatant as that was when alcohol was involved.

*Clean romance level: passionate kisses

***The narrator has a pleasant voice and ably created different voices to audibly distinguish between different characters dialogue***

Charming story, great listen

Felicity Miner, known around Pine Valley as "the bike lady", is used to being on her own; she has one good friend and her longest relationship lasted 6 days. Felicity has been living alone in her grandparent's home in Line Valley for the last year and has enjoyed working in the local book store. When she witnesses a theft in the store and calls the police department and swoon worthy officer Leo Russo is assigned to the case.

Leo has been single for the last six months and isn't looking for a new girlfriend. With his job, his friends and his large family, Leo's life is full. When he is sent to the book store to investigate a theft, the attraction between Felicity and Leo is immediate. Leo helps Felicity when she believes that there is someone sneaking around her yard at night, he helps her pick out a dog and repairs her car.

The two are becoming closer and a romance is beginning to blossom. Everything is going well until Felicity meets Leo's large, loud and extra close Italian family. Doubts and insecurities start to plague Felicity and shortly after that she learns something that shakes her to the core.

Finding Us is the 5th book in Heather B. Moore's Pine Valley series and my first book with this author. The book can be read as a stand alone and I did not feel that I was coming in during the middle of the story. I really enjoyed the book, the characters are well developed and the story was well written. I was also happy the the narrator was Xe Sands as she is one of my favorites. I will definitely be reading the other books in this series to catch up with the other residents of Line Valley.

I was given the audio verion of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review.

One of my Pine Valley favorites

I love Heather B. Moore’s stories, and I love the Pine Valley series! Fabulous author + fantastic narrator = a win-win! Xe Sands is a very talented narrator, and she reads at a perfect pace. Buy this book, and then buy the other 7 in the series!
