A must read for those caring with loved ones with dementia

One of my favorite parts to this book were the prayers at the end of each chapter. They were so consoling and helped refocus the care for my mother to be Christ focused. They were great reminders that God is with us in the hard.

Suffering through dementia care while honoring God

Although this book can't cover every detail or checklist that may be necessary for the many decisions that come with dementia care, Dr. Dunlop provides an excellent biblical foundation to prepare the patient and caregivers spiritually. Along with practical advice drawn from the author's many years of medical and personal experience, I learned a lot about getting the right perspective on what it means to enter this valley of individual and family suffering and I now feel better prepared for the decisions ahead.
