Not your norm

Tori got on my nerves. It was a little too much angst for me and I can usually deal with it but ION LIKE TORI!! This was utterly ridiculous. Made no sense to do the man like she did and be silly the entire book.

Cute Story

Overall both narrators did a good job. On to the next book in this series.

Hard to listen to…

The narrators need more practice. You can tell that they aren’t familiar with CCJ’s work. The tone was off until the very end. The storyline was okay, the narration made it hard to get into. I’m a true fan so I’m going to continue the series with hopes of improvement.

Loved It!

I loved this story! It's funny how love had escaped the matchmaker of all people. The narrators were new to me but did a great job! CCJ never disappoints!

Relationship

I found this book to be an Enjoyable Read!!! It depicted a Sister/ brother relationship, friendship and girl code relationship, and self reservations vs a relationship.

Finding Forever

The title says it all. Tori and Avery are two people looking for something and find it in each other. That sister was a mess I’m glad they got her straight. Cause sis you were just in my position boo-hooing about I can’t find a good man. The new to me narrators did a good job 👍🏽 👍🏽

I wanted to like it…

I am a CCJ fan and have listened to/read the majority of her catalog! However, I could not get into this story due to the Narrators. Both are new to me and unfortunately, they just do not give the story justice. I stopped listening halfway and will just pickup the book. The storyline seemed to be good but the narration not so much.

Not her usual

I loved this story. It was different from anything else CCJ has written, which I really liked because sometimes when the author keeps everything in the same city all the time the storylines start to blurr. Don’t get me wrong I love Mahogany Heights and Blackwood The different narrators, the different towns and different characters was refreshing.

This story was interesting because the female lead was annoying and the male lead was cute but got on my nerves with going with the flow so much lol 😂 but I don’t know if there was enough about Brandon for me to listen to the next one.
