Apocalyptic

Final Days by Grace Hamilton is an excellent post apocalyptic Sci-Fi book. Heather Jinmaku and Brad Grusnick did a wonderful job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, and more. Final Days is the third book in After the End trilogy.

Fast-Paced and Fully Hooked

This has quickly become one of my favorite post-apocalyptic reads. Grace Hamilton has a way of writing that makes this genre incredibly accessible—even for someone like me who doesn’t usually reach for it. The characters are all compelling and serve a real purpose in the story, which never slows down for a second. It’s fast-paced and just as gripping as the rest of the series.

This is definitely not a standalone—you absolutely need to read the first two books to fully understand what’s going on here. This installment leans more heavily into the motorcycle club angle now that the characters are back with their crew, and I loved seeing them work together in that new dynamic.

If you’ve been enjoying the series so far, you obviously need to read this one too. I also highly recommend the audiobook—it’s really well done. Even with a large cast and shifting POVs, it’s always clear who you’re following, which makes for a smooth and immersive listen.

Gripping conclusion to this series!

Final Days is book #3 in the After The End series. This story leads up to the final showdown between Shannon and her ex-husband, Andre. The author really brings to life how it would be after an apocalyptic event. The group is forced from the MC compound and chased down by Andre. Through triumphs, heartbreaking loss, and sheer perseverance, Shannon and Kim, along with a town willing to help, make their stand against Andre and his crew. This series has been exciting, emotional, and an eye-opener into a new genre for me. Absolutely loved it.

The narration was superb yet again. Brad Grusnick and Heather Jinmaku voice all the characters with precision and skill. Love their performance. 5/5 stars!!

Grace Hamilton has populated this 3rd installment in the "After the End" series with an amazing cast of characters: good, bad, and somewhere in the middle. Action-packed and enthralling. An enjoyable book to listen to or read.

Thrilling ride!

The third installment in the After the End series is a thrilling ride from start to finish. The story picks up right where the previous installment left off: Shannon and Kim are finally reunited—but danger is closing in fast. Shannon’s ex-husband, Andre, is out of prison and on the hunt. The plot is gripping, and emotionally intense, packed with danger, action, and unexpected twists. A lot happens in this book, and the pacing is absolutely breathless. The immersive world-building remains strong, and it all builds to a heart-pounding, satisfying conclusion.Told from multiple points of view, the story gains depth and keeps things even more engaging. The narration is clear, expressive, and perfectly paced—making it easy to follow and hard to stop listening. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next! Great read!

Grace Hamilton NEVER disappoints with any of her books. Love the voice very soothing. This one is no exception this is the third book and we follow our undaunted but humanly flawed characters and cheer them on their journey full of wins and losses. The author shows us the all too human side of humanity as dark and light as the sun and moon. My only disappointment was that I finished it too soon!.
