Please, lose the incessant "quote... unquotes"

This ebook could've been at least two (2) hours shorter had the approximately 8,000 "quote... unquote" parts been left out.
The narrator has a voice that I'd listen to for hours on end, but a very good reading has been completely undone by punctuation marks that have no business being read aloud ad nauseum.
Had I not been so interested in the content; I'd have stopped and deleted it long before she got to the five (5) minute mark.

Should've been entitled: QUOTE Field Guide to the Spirit World UNQUOTE.
If you value your sanity, buy and read the this book yourself.
CRINGE-WORTHY.

Quote unquote... Quote unquote... Quote unquote

I lost track at 500 Quote unquotes…. It was hard to follow the narration because there were so blasted many quote unquotes that it was distracting. Do you really need to use verbal quotation marks when it is obvious you are quoting someone?

As noted in other reviews, the repeated “quote-unquote” in the narration is quite jarring...especially when more and more of those quoted passages are drawn uncritically from a channelled 19th century text as proof of the author’s assertions. I don’t mind opinionated writing, which this is, and I’m interested in spiritualism as a movement, and its assorted channelled materials, and I’m personally disposed to a spirit-thronged cosmos. But I don’t like being sold a book that fails to disclose upfront that it’s skirting dangerously close to being a piece of apologetics for faithists.

Worst Book I've gotten on audible lately.

The narration on this book is garbage "Quote/End Quote" all the way through this thing. I read all sorts of books on the metaphysical and this is the worst, most disappointing one I can remember in recent times. I spent $15 on this and I want my money back. I definitely have buyers remorse on this title!! Save yourself the money - get something else.

Angry Rant

The narration was spoiled by repetitions of quote/unquote, reflecting the author’s liberal use of quoting others a habit of putting her own words in quotes. The author also abbreviates many phrases which is just annoying, for example, SciMat for scientific materialism. This is no field guide. It’s an angry rant, read by the narrator (correctly but still unpleasant) to express that anger, full of disdainful fuming about words like “disorder” and “energy.” Whatever ails you - from PTSD to serial murder - blame a spirit.

I've thoroughly studied this field since childhood and 50+ years later I can certainly agree with the vast majority of this book w/o hesitation.

The order of topics is perfect for my style of learning and cleanly follows her presentation process.

Personal opinion....
I think it you thoroughly study John A Keel's copious so-called alien and UFO data, look very seriously at the history and facts of world religions (especially the Abrahamic and Hindu strain), and this book, you will pretty much have a grip on what is going on to the inhabitants of this planet.

VERY highly recommended!
