I LOVE ELSIE, but this narrator was not it.

Anything with Teddy is ALWAYS an absolute for me, but this narrator was horrendous. She has a beautiful voice, but it is absolutely not for story telling. Yes, she read the story beautifully - but there was NO connection to the character, no feeling, it was a very hard listen. I had to stop and finish with a regular book. Surprised that Elsie okayed that :(

I was looking forward to this book so much. Theo Silva's sister was getting a book and being paired with Theo's rival was the best. We know when it comes to a bull rider, Elsie does it best. Emmett and Julia were so cute! Love the banter back and forth. I was waiting for the cameo of Theo and Winter and it did not disappoint.

Seriously can't wait to see where Elsie takes this series!

I listened to the audiobook, and I wished I read it instead. I'm someone who can't listen to the audiobook too fast, or I won't connect with the story at all. So this could totally be a me issue. I considered DNFing the audiobook. I enjoyed the book, however, the audiobook was not my favorite. I listened to it at 1.75x, and I couldn't connect to the female narrator at all. I changed it to 2.0X so it got a little bit better, but I still couldn't connect to the female narrator. I just didn't feel any emotions. I've seen some people who loved the audiobook, but this is me. While the audiobook wasn't for me, I still recommend the book!!!

Such a fun fabulous listen- great characters and dialogue- the audio makes it come alive. Can’t wait for more in this world so glad family will also get stories.

Bachelor meets cowboy romance

This was sooo good! A bit different than her usual Cowboy romances. Loved the narration and a great debut for Julia.
