Publisher's summary

Why are werewolves going missing? When a frustrated alpha requests the aid of the Paranormal Peacekeepers, a new partnership is formed. Alice and Amarok are assigned to get in and get answers before the pack problems bleed into the lives of the townspeople.

Prisoner or ambassador? As a hybrid, Alice is still struggling with what her place is at the Paranormal Peacekeepers when she is assigned her first mission and given her permanent partner. Before she can find out who is responsible for the missing werewolves, she has to commit to the job and ignore the voice in her head telling her use the mission as a chance to escape.

Loyal ambassador and former member of the para-military. Amarok is still broken from the death of his partner when he is assigned to work with new recruit, Alice. While he will vet her, and make sure she is safely returned to the Paranormal Peacekeepers, the bond of partnership means something to him that blurs the lines of following orders.

The mission takes them to emotional places they never imagined and tests the limits of their supernatural abilities. To solve the mystery of where the werewolves have gone they will need to redefine themselves and come together as a team.

Feral

Deliciously dark with a dash of humor. Loved listening to the story. Both the narrator and the story were engaging from start to finish.

Werewolf fiction

I have always been into werewolf fiction, I am a big fan of this genre and this genre never fails to impress me, this audio book got my attention and five minutes into the book and I was impressed with story premise and the narration, the good thing is that it is a novel not a novella, in paranormal romance genre it is sometimes hard to find a good novel as this genre is mostly flooded with novella, so, yes it was good to listen to an awesome novel.
The character of Alice impressed me as author did not failed to explore her character which made the audio book even more interesting, the narrator speaks calmly which made the audio book easy to listen to.

Excellent book!I loved it! Alice is tasked with a Werewolf as a partner in her new life.It takes a lot of getting used to and a lot of fighting to keep each other alive. Jason Rosette was the perfect narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

A thrilling story

A great addition to the PPK series. When three wolves from the same pack go missing, Alice is assigned to the job as well as a wolf partner named Amarok to go undercover into the pack and find out who's responsible. The pack accepts but a few members snarl at the idea of human/wolf pairings. As the mystery unfolds, Alice discovers that the wolves that were taken are being experimented with and the sinister culprits behind the wolfnappings have their sights set on Amarok. Both Alice and Amarok will be tested in many ways, but will it change and break them forever? Listen to this wonderful story and find out. I highly recommend this one!

Suspenseful and entertaining

This story held me in rapt attention with its twists and turns. Not my usual genre but an exciting adventure superbly narrated

DNF due to terrible performance

I cant deal with this narrator. His cadence is intolerable! You can't tell who's talking during a conversation because of his cadence. He sounds the same regardless of the sentiment that should be portrayed. He consistently pauses as if theres a period randomaly in the middle of sentences or between 2 words that dont require a pause. It's as if he's beggining an entirely new sentence in the middle of one. I've listened to some bad narrator's but I just couldn't get past this one. Also, anytime there's dialogue he makes the H sound like an elderly man.

I couldn't tell if the story was terrible or the narrator just made it feel terrible. The dialogue wasn't natural, it was choppy and awkward. The story progression was weird. It just didn't flow.
