Publisher's summary

A young man, disillusioned by a caustic religious upbringing, strays into a self-destructive lifestyle. He finds temporary peace in a religion that centers on new age mysticism and tribal ceremonies. He then finds that the spirits that now haunt him can be driven away only by the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Must Read!

I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This book is very “eye opening”. For those who have had the misfortune of being a part of a church where to disagree with the pastor or even question his teaching is blasphemy, you will definitely relate to this book.
It is well written with very good character development.

Only the Truth will set you free

Feathers of Faith is an excellent story about finding your faith despite your history.
Many of us have had bad experiences with the Church of our youth. As in this story, this often has the effect of turning you against Religion in all forms. If this story speaks to you then you should follow a similar path and seriously check out what the Bible actually says rather than relying on your understanding of what was presented to you. What was presented may or may not have been the Truth as the Bible relates the Truth to us. Sometimes it is just the presentation but sometimes it really is what is presented as Truth that is false. Just because you believe it to be true does not make it Truth. Many teachers firmly believe what they are teaching is Truth. Many others, like “Pastor Black “ in this story, are simply giving you what they think you want to get what they want. Sometimes that is money but sometimes it is just the way they feel better about themselves.
One thing to keep in mind. There are many people out there that claim to have the Truth, but there is only one Truth and it is presented accurately in the Bible. Jesus tells us to test what we hear against the Word of God. Do not take any scripture out of context to prove or disprove anything.

I would highly recommend this story to anyone searching for the Truth but is reluctant about Religion. You may have a history with Religion or no experience at all but your friends tell you to stay away from those crazy people. Anyone who searches with an open minded attitude, can easily see the Truth. It is when we close out any possibilities that we are likely to miss the very thing we are looking for.

The narration of this story was well done. The tone was perfect for the story and Kevin does an excellent job differentiating characters with distinct voices.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
