Always a pleasure

I had no idea this book was coming, and when I saw it out for pre-sale I jumped on it (!) and been counting down the days to once again be deeply snuggled into the best romcom story out there. It brought me so much joy, moments where I laughed out loud, cried with a caught breath, and gasps of "how dare you". Lucien and Oliver are my favourite queer couple and their dynamic and inner workings give me hope for true love no matter how it looks like or comes about.

A different evolution of favorite characters in a surprising story

Performance definitely was enhanced by the enthusiasm with of the characters’ ranges being expressed so well. The story is different, less sunny in ways, but more mature and satisfying.

Humor

This final book in the series made me laugh out loud. I have loved following Luc and Oliver through their adventures.

The perfect third act

Wow. It’s everything you want an Alexis Hall and London Calling book to be. The best of the best. What a wonderful continuation of Lucien and Oliver’s story. Surrounded by the same cast of friends and relatives we love, of course. I will miss them dearly but know they will all be alright. 💙🤍❤️

A beautiful ending
