Publisher's Summary
Detective Erika Foster is back in Fatal Witness–with a chilling new serial-killer case in Robert Bryndza's multimillion best-selling crime-thriller series!
How do you find a killer who has destroyed all the evidence?
Detective Erika Foster is on a late-night walk near her new house in Blackheath when she stumbles upon the brutal murder of Vicky Clarke, a true-crime podcaster.
Erika is assigned to the case and discovers that Vicky had been working on a new podcast episode about a sexual predator who preys on young female students around South London, staking out his victims in their halls of residence before breaking in at the dead of night.
When Erika discovers that Vicky's notes and sound recordings were stolen from her flat at the time of her murder, it leads her to believe that Vicky was close to unmasking the attacker, and she was killed to guarantee her silence.
The case takes on a disturbing twist when the body of a young Bulgarian student doctor is discovered in the same building, and this makes Erika question everything she thought she knew about Vicky. With very little evidence, the clock is ticking to find the killer before he strikes again.

Love this latest Erika Foster installment!
Bryndza delivered yet another banger with Fatal Witness. It's paced a little more slowly than others in this series, but I think it fits the mood of the events happening in the characters' personal lives. Jan Cramer's performance is, of course, as terrific as always. I'm going to go right back in and listen to it again!

Erika Foster is Back
Missed Erika Foster and crew ,good to have them back and nice for something or someone good to happen to Erika. But I don't believe for one minute that a smart and savvy detective like Erika would confront a known murderer with such reckless abandon in front of a civilian with absolutely no way of protecting herself or the civilian. I think Erika is smarter than that.

Good series but not the best installment.
If you can get over the narration, this is a pretty good series. Cramer is just not a good pick for these in my opinion. Her accents are strange, although they do allow you to differentiate between characters. But sometimes she just sounds hysterical, which can be unintentionally funny. Sometimes her bad narration overshadows the action.

Erika Forster’s return is welcomed
It was good after a four years absence to have this character back . I enjoyed the storyline and everything would have had five stars apart from the narrator having the worst Scottish accent ever for one of the characters it was truly awful! A cross between the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and the over accented use of the word murder as if from an episode of Taggart made me cringe beware other Scottish listeners .

I couldn’t wait to start this book as I’ve read/listened to all of Bryndza’s books and throughly enjoyed each one.
This was a brilliant comeback for DCI Erika Foster and the team. It had everything, drama, suspense, a little comedy and of course another tough case to crack.
I finished this in one day, I couldn’t stop once I had started. Robert Bryndza is such an amazing crime writer and I adore all of his work. I highly recommend this book to everyone!!
