Honestly? You might enjoy this more if you just stop reading around the 75% mark.

I really, really, really need to stop reading books where the failure to even attempt to communicate leads to a third-act breakup. This book is that trope times three—because it’s basically three books in one. And honestly, I don’t know why it wasn’t three separate books.

I didn’t get enough time with any of the storylines or characters, which is a shame because I genuinely liked all of them:
Bendetto, Harrow, and Cece (MMF throuple, rivals to lovers),
Liam and Micaela (age gap, ex’s dad),
and Paola and Brent (reformed puckboy).

Those are quite literally three of my all-time favorite tropes. All in one book. On paper, I should have been obsessed.

Instead, everything felt rushed. Too much was crammed into about 350 pages, none of the relationships had the space to really breathe, and then we hit the trope I can’t stand more than any other. The result is a book that had so much potential but never quite delivered on it.
