After her husband's death, Prissy struggles to make a new life for herself and her two daughters. Far Outside the Ordinary is also a story of happily-ever-after, a fairy tale, and how a second chance at love can come disguised and when least expected. When her high school boyfriend reappears in her life, Prissy learns love has no expiration date. She finds herself swept up in an exciting and romantic love story and realizes this could be a new beginning to the rest of her life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Prissy. She grew so much and her eyes were opened continuously with her diverse community of care-givers.

What about Prissy Elrod’s performance did you like?

Her Southern Charm and that she's so open with her feelings.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Something along the lines of Team Boone.

Any additional comments?

I loved the story up until shortly after Boone passed away. The new life part and the clues felt so monotonous.
I did love that Prissy loved Boone's care-givers with her whole heart. I would've been honored to know all of them for having come to her aid without question. That was so moving.
