Beautiful story about the importance of family and connection. I need this right now, and I loved it.

One of my favorite books now

The story and plot was good! You get another story within the story of characters from the past that keeps you in suspense waiting til it goes back to the past to see what happens! I fell in love with the characters. I would recommend this book. If you are reading reviews to see whether you want to listen to this book DO IT!

Really well thought-out story

Excellent plot with unexpected twists. Great characters. This is my first book by this author. I'll look for more of hers in the future.

A memorable book!

This book pulled me in so much, I got through it in 3 days. Every free minute I had, I was listening . I enjoyed the narration and style of the book. I enjoyed the characters, the cultural reflections, and the journey with them through PR. My beloved island.

Worth the read! Will definitely read another book from this author.
