Publisher's Summary

They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.... Nevaeh's is paved with half-demon blood and a fiery portal.

Nevaeh and George live on the streets, homeless, as father and daughter. After they get hired at Joe's Café, George suddenly becomes ill, and a demon takes his soul hostage to hell. The devil wants Nev and holds George as ransom. While struggling to attain the faith she never had amid the dark world she's hurled into, Nevaeh searches for a way to get George's soul back without damning herself.

Gavyn - the handsome café-owner - is convinced she could be a key player in a supernatural war that's bleeding into the human realm. Nev's debilitating visions and startling new abilities say he might be right.

Complicating things even more, Archard - a mysterious stranger she feels undeniably bonded to - wanders into her life. She suspects he holds answers to her past and who she really is, but he's not telling.

This is book one in the Faltering Souls series.

Nevaeah must fight to be good or evil

Navaha is a unique person she's part demon and part colada .She's fighting to be good or evil. she must make the decision of what side she is going to fight for. she wants to rescue George from hell, the man that was the closest thing to a father. But her guarding angel wants her to commit to God. there are so many conflicts waring in her. What to do? the author wrote a very interesting book. I liked it. the narrator was great in telling the story. an abrupt ending. A cliff hanger. waiting for book 2.

Not all bad, not all good

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. She is not all bad and not all good. Each decision she makes has her dual heritage to be considered. She is tasked with making these decisions sometimes during a lot of stress and she has to make them quickly. This is sometimes how our lives are governed and we have to decide what is the best course of action. Narration added to the story and moved it along.

incredibly good

the book was very well written and very well described it was enjoyable and you asked yourself so many questions during the book that you just had to know it wasn't a short story but it was so good and so intriguing in the best way that you didn't feel the length of the book I listened to it in the car in home and I haven't felt the moment the book ended it was wonderful

Falter

Will she or won't she??? I found myself pondering that question in one way or another throughout the entire book! LOL Will she choose light? Will she choose dark? Will she save those she loves or will she fail? Will she hook up with this guy or will she pass? What about her guardian? The story is filled with action and is well written. The narrator does a pretty good job handling all of the different characters and making them distinguishable. In my opinion, Falter is well worth the listen! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

GREAT READ!

I absolutely loved it! The narration was outstanding and gave the story that extra flair. It will really keep you entertained. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I am so glad I was introduced to this series and really look forward to reading more books from this author. Awesome!

I seriously love this series. I've eyeball read everything available in ebook, but the end of Falter still killed me! The narrator did a beautiful job, despite a couple of production problems, like weirdly long pauses. I really felt connected to these characters, even more now they've been given voices. I may have to reread the rest of the series if the audiobooks aren't going to be out soon. Neveah and co. are everything good protagonists need to be. There's tons of strife, crappy luck, and awesome sidekicks like George. Everyone should have a George in their lives. All in all, I would definitely recommend to PNR readers everywhere. Loved it!
