Publisher's Summary

Richard Ramsey is the guitarist for the world’s hottest new band.

Gifted. Charismatic. Hot as sin.

Lend your ear, and he’ll steal your heart.

Nah, you can’t have his, considering he left it in his hometown years ago.

He knows better than going back. But it’s his younger sister’s wedding, and there’s no way he can say no to that.

He should have known she would be there, invading his senses and making him thirst and hunger for what he wants most.

Violet Marin hates him for what he’s done. He left her empty-handed with their wreckage strewn all around. She’s picked up the pieces and is living her life the best way that she can.

But their connection is fierce.

Their attraction unending.

It only takes one glance for their worlds to collide.

One touch to set them on fire.

But she doesn’t know the dark secrets he keeps. If he had understood the true price of fame, he would have known he’d sold his soul and this debt is something he cannot repay.

Letting her go is impossible, but will loving her cost it all?

Trigger warning

TW: rape, gang rape, sex trafficking, sexual emotional manipulation/abuse, and gaslighting

Not sure how any of the above qualifies as “romance.” Think this series requires a new category

What a story!

This was once again a great, complex story by A. L. Jackson. It’s a long listen but it didnt feel like it was stalling at any point. The story develops all the time and keeps you on the edge. Even though this book was great and i recommend listening to it, it’s not a happy story in the sense that it contains grimm subjects and really sad parts. I was perhaps looking for a more upbeat book to suit my current mood, and feel like I need to find one after this to get rid of the bad feelings that this story created. Nevertheless, i highly recommed this book and would just recommend picking a day that you are prepared to tackle more heavy issues.

I’M AWE STRUCK.. A BRUTAL BEAUTIFUL SECOND-CHANCE

A million stars for a love story that had a million heartfelt emotions, a million touching sentiments said and felt.. and unfortunately, a million stumbling blocks of emotional ruins and wreckage standing between a forever love that should never have been broken. Six years lost, six years of sacrifices made, six years planning revenge and six years missing the other half of their souls. One sweet little girl that nearly stole the show, one heart that begged understanding and redemption, one heart that pieced together and gave forgiveness and one wedding that brought lost loving friends back together. But there was also one mother who was at the end of her life, one sister missing under mysterious circumstances, one evil monster to vanquish forever and one ugly big truth that would slay and shatter fragile bonds and bring danger and bloodshed in its wake.

Amy’s books get right in and grip my heart, her stories of deep devoted love touch my soul, her damaged characters possess my thoughts and feed my need for a HEA and her rich descriptions of what’s gone and what’s now color the scenes. But wow Amy, this story.. well this pain-filled yet perfect story of heartbreak and healing ran through my bloodstream until its beautiful end. Amy you have a magic with your words that always floors me as you describe combustible chemistry that blankets and bleeds and flares and flames throughout the story. You richly describe feelings of want.. and loss.. and heartbreak.. and love.. and devotion.. and hope.. and hopelessness.. and desperate desires.. and hearts in turmoil as seeping emotional wounds slowly turn into scars that can be built on. You surround the hero and heroine in the loving embrace of close friends and family to support and guide. And Andi and Zachary were the perfect choice and fit to bring Richard and Violet’s dual POV second-chance love story to life and I felt every pain and pleasure and possessive thoughts thanks to their talented input.

WORTH A CREDIT? There’s never any doubt that the answer is always going to be YES.

Rollercoaster of emotion

This author always weaves intricate stories of love, loss and longing giving the reader each piece of the story slowly, drawing you deeper and deeper until the full picture is revealed. Always tragic but ultimately redemptive, A.L. Jackson's stories are steeped in all the emotions. This one was probably the most soul-wrenching I've listened to yet. All the innocent missteps and proverbial trap doors into fame that a young, naive Richard fell through landed him in a depraved world, witness to the most vile cruelty that humans are capable of and unable to free himself. Yet he couldn't keep from doing anything possible to help the victimized, even when it would appear otherwise to the woman who was the other part of himself. Violet is completely unaware of the danger she's skirting by starting to search for her missing sister and drawing closer to Richard, her estranged husband of 6 years, unable to fight the pull of their unresolved love.

Andi and Zachary are such magic with their narration of these characters - and any character, honestly - they couldn't have been voiced by any other narrators.

My only negative on A.L. Jackson's style would be all the energy lashing, crashing, washing, sizzling, etc. descriptors that she uses. I feel like it is almost overdone when every scene between her hero's and heroine's come with these descriptions. I think that every once in a while she could try describing the connection between her characters a little differently or simply trust that the reader will know they're there after the first few mentions of them. It's also a little strange for the flashback chapters to be in third-person POV when the majority of the story is in first-person. I would think it might be to give the reader/listener some separation from the direct feelings of the characters, but she gives us those in the third-party portions, too, so I'm not sure why she switches POV's. These are only minor detriments to her work, and wouldn't deter me from listening to them, only that I'm noticing the themes more having listened to several of her books.

I can't wait to hear Reese's story and wonder if he'll end up with Mel and what demons he's covering with his devil-may-care attitude.

All the Feels!

Omg! A. L. Jackson gave me heart palpitations with Violet and Richard’s story! What must it be like to have a love like Violet and Richard? To know that no matter the cost, someone would go to battle to ensure your livelihood and that of your family!! My heart broke for Richard and the guilt he shouldered thinking he was at fault for the depravity of the human traffickers, when he was just as much a victim of circumstances himself!! Violet was such a wonderful, loving woman with a compassionate spirit that saw the beauty in everything! Thank goodness Richard was a loyal, brave, and caring with high morals! I loved how both of Violet’s parents spoke positivity into their lives! Andi Arndt’s performance was PHENOMENAL! I felt every emotion be it laughter, anxiety, betrayal, love or distress! Her voice for the little girl tickled me to pieces😂🤣😆❣️Zachary Webster’s performance gave me ALL THE FEELS ❣️I loved this audiobook 😍

Falling into You

Richard is the guitarist for the hot new band tearing up the music scene, Carolina George. Living his tortured life one day at a time, he has tried to avoid going back home to his hometown where the only woman he has ever loved still lives. But when his sister decides to hold her wedding there, he has no choice but to return. Violet has put her life back together as best she can after Richard left her all those years ago. After seeing each other again they both realize that their connection has never broken. Knowing his demons are hiding in the shadows, Richard will do whatever it takes to keep Violet safe and pray that his secrets will not cost him his moonflower.

OMG!!!! This story was an emotional rollercoaster that had me on the edge of my seat right from the very first page with the suspense of what secrets would be revealed and the turmoil that Richard was living with. Smiling and laughing at the craziness of Reece and the adorable whirlwind that is Daisy. Also had me in tears for the pain that Violet and her family endured with her mother battling cancer but also the undeniable love that the families in this story have for each other. I did struggle with the mom having cancer as it brings back memories of my mother, but they are extremely happy memories. Zachary Weber and Andi Arndt did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life and making you feel every emotion just as the characters would have felt them. This was the best book in the series in my opinion and is a must-read!

Falling into You is a second chance romance in the Falling Stars series from A.L. Jackson.

Spicy

Probably one of my favorite books she’s written! Suspense and super hot sex scenes. I love both the narrators too! Great book in addition to the Carolina George “series”

I absolutely loved this book. Heartbreaking beautiful story so well written. Zachary and Andi are the dream team. Daisy character was my favorite and I loved how Zachary brought her to life. Can’t wait fir the next book. Was hoping it would be Reese and Mel but I’m thinking it might be him and Maggie.

What a story!

Every A.L. Jackson story is so amazing. The depth & detail of the characters make it so addicting. This one shot to the top of best Jackson books. Worth the credit & time.
Narration what can I say you cannot go wrong with And Arndt & Zachary Webber. i know when I see their names separately or together it’s gonna be amazing. KUDOS!
This life story of Violet and Richard was so deep. hippie and natural. I thought I had parts figured out and I didn't. It is a second chance romance but not really, its loyalty and sacrifice. LOVED IT!!!
As other reviewer’s noted and I 100% agree Miss Daisy is awesome!

All the Feels, but a little winded.

I have listened to a few books by this author now, and I really have enjoyed them with some minor annoyances. She seems to like to say the same word three times in a row. I also thought this story got a little to descriptive when Violet and Richard would describe their feelings I think it made the ending rushed when that was the more exciting part of the story.

That said, it really was a sweet love story and I was surprised with the different plot twists. It was hard to put it down!

Andi and Zachary’s narration was amazing! They really put so much feeling into the story and it really came to life. They both have such great little kid voices and Andi’s southern accent is so sweet. A definite 5 star performance!

Wow!!!

Another beautiful lovestory by A. L Jackson. Loved every bit of it, and how great was it that Sunder got a little mention in the book. I fell completly in love with Richard and Violet and I also like the action and danger that this storyline provided. Dive in, you won’t regret it. And as always the narration from Andi and Zachary was amazing. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
