Publisher's Summary

Aiden Taylor.

He's devastatingly handsome, sexy, arrogant, and he's out of reach.

He's my best friend's brother and the one man I can't have.

However, now that my best friend, Liv, is getting married, I'm seeing him more than ever.

And he's doing things to me that are making it hard for me to forget him.

Or that night we had years ago.

The night neither of us wants to talk about.

The night I really want to talk about. We both vowed to keep our secret.

It's just getting harder and harder to keep it to myself.

I need to come up with a plan.

And I need to come up with it now because every weekend it's getting harder and harder to tell myself that I'm not falling for my best friend's brother.

Falling for My Best Friend's Brother features Alice and Aiden from One Night Stand, but you do not need to read that book to enjoy this one.

Listeners should be 18 or over due to mature content and language.

THE STORY WAS GOOD BUT......

The story was good, but it would have been best served by just "reading" the book. The narration was a 1.5. I did not complete the listen, though I tried. I finally gave up and read the book.

High School all over again.

This was a very immature story line from start to finish. I've got to say that I didn't find this at all enjoyable.

Ummmmm

So first off, I have never rolled my eyes so freaking much in my life. CJ Bloom has one of the most juvenile voices I’ve heard in this story. Maybe it was the writing or how she interpreted it because I felt like Alison was 16/17 the whole story. The things they did and said were so immature and not in a young character way, but an “are you freaking kidding me” way.
Second, thank god this wasn’t actually a BDSM story but it would have sucked. She says she is willing to try to be a submissive but she was a sass mouth the whole time and “talked back” the entire episodes.. in do you even know what a sub is? She was gonna do some research she said but obviously didn’t.. he didn’t sound dominating, it came across forced, so that reveal was at least a comfort, but it was also just exhausting to listen to..
I will say that it had potential and it could have been good, but it just missed the mark for me. I am glad it is part of romance package because if I spent a credit I would be wanting it back.

❤ sweet young sexy love story....

I really liked this story....feel in love with it.... I absolutely love CJ bloom as a narrator....she does the womens and mans voice so you dont need.... 2 narrators....which i prefer both a male and female to narrate.... with C.J bloom no need to have a male.... I think this story was very cute had sexy parts....but i almost turned it off cause of the high pitch teen banter.....But i did not and listen to it straight through the night til after 1am... I'm glad i did... its young love turned into something ohhh so sexy and very sweet....loved the story line so good.... it worth a credit forsure. Never read a book by JS Cooper. or Helen Cooper... deff checking out the other books... thanks for a light sweet sexy ride....

Bad narrator

I think the narrator ruined this story for me. She didn't use different tones for each person and if more than one person was talking you didn't know who was who.

Couldn’t even finish it

I got a couple of chapters into this before I had to shut it off. Female lead and her best friend are supposed to be 22, but all interactions, expressions, reactions were more like a 14 year old.

The narrator does have a young voice, but her reading was fluid and good effort to change voices or identify others point of view, while maintaining her own voice. No fault of the narrator on this one, it was completely the characters that the author built.

I did some 30 second skips forward thinking it had to get better...... the final blow for me was the best friend talking about how her boyfriend didn’t like them to spend a lot of time together because they tend to act immature. I decided if it was going to get less mature than it was, I certainly couldn’t take seriously that is supposed to be an honest love story. Not just an HEA, but a bdsm book in the erotica category. I couldn’t pair that up with characters who sounded like they we high school freshman.

Good Book

This was an overall good story, I liked it. But the voice reading the book made it impossible for me to enjoy it. The voice just irritated me and it was hard not to just stop listening.

A Mess

I am not sure how this book is getting such good reviews. The characters are under-developed, the story-line is BLAH, and the dialogue between the friends is not realistic - almost comical. Don't waste your time or money. YAWN.
