Read Payback First!
This is a great story, and it does stand on its own, but it is so much better if you read book one Payback first. I listened to the two audiobooks back to back and it was a better experience than I had the first time reading the books a couple years apart. I always loved Payback and thought this was a good sequel but now I have to change my mind and say if you listen to them back to back Fair Game is a great sequel.

Frustrating!
Don't get me wrong, I love twists like the next person, but not when they leave more questions unanswered. I was a bit frustrated by the book to say the least. but I guess that got me to the end.

Loved the story and keep going
Great story. I enjoyed the romance and the suspense in equal parts. It was a perfect sequel. It would be even better to know what happened on the “Shelby” front…hopefully a third book is being considered. Thanks for the entertainment.

I liked this one as much as the first one. Great characters and excellent plot, with lots of twists and turns. Miss Mills is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The narrator really good as well.
