passed exam 87%

This book helped digest the material. With this book, the FAA guide and about 6 hours of YouTube videos, I was able to pass the test with an 87%. Thank you!

Poor execution.

Already into chapter 4, and author mentioned "included study guide" numerous times. Yet never tells you how to get it. He even tells you to look at particular page at one point. Audio book does little without the guide.

Loved it. this was a very informative book. even if you don't need all the info for the test it's better to know it.

Lack of material regarding the charts section.

The book contains too much theory and I feel is out of date concerning the test. More information was needed regarding charts, how to read the charts, studying the charts to be able to pass the remote pilot certification test. I had one question on my exam regarding METARS, in which the author spent a great deal of time on this section I would not recommend this book, the FAA provides free information versus buying this mislabeled book cover.

Save yourself the money and just watch youtube

I was wanting to get my part 107 and I love audiobooks. This book seemed like the answer. The info they give is ok, but a good 50% of it was not on my test. The quizzes at the end of each chapter are awful. I passed with flying colors due to youtube videos and not from this book. Just save yourself the cash and watch free courses on youtube.

One important error!

According to the audio and the pdf, the drones can weigh 55 lbs or less ("Fully loaded aircraft can weigh in at 55 pounds maximum"). However, FAA regulations say LESS THAN 55 lbs, not including 55 lbs.: "Register your aircraft using this website if it weighs more than 0.55 lbs. (250 grams) and less than 55 lbs. (25 kg)"

Great information, but needs updating!

I bought a copy of this book, and about a week later the laws changed for recreational drones pilots. But there is plenty of good information in this audiobook to help you prepare for the Exam. I am just not sure what laws have changed. This book doesn't tell you.

Missing information and lots of typos in handout.

Not detailed enough and the hand out was poorly excited. I found other study guides online more helpful and free!
