I liked this method of learning

I studied electronics in a Trade School, this was a great way to refresh what I learned 40 years ago. I'm finally getting into Ham Radio mainly to help me pass time since I was disabled a little over 3 years ago. I Highly recommend listening and maybe reviewing several times if needed in order to pass your exam.

I passed due this this book and the app

I used this audiobook and the app from the same producer to study for my exam. I passed with a 94, and bare minimum is 74. yes, this is just the answers from the the test that the Ham Radio Prep group has rearranged into topics.

My study method was to listen to the chapter and write down anything I did not know. then go take the associated quiz on the app/website. I would add stuff to my notes on the questions I missed. I went through the book completely before I took my first practice exam. I took four practice exams with an average score of 89, I signed up for an online test and passed in 15 minutes.

Missing a few things due to just being audio taken from videos. Still good to listen while you drive.

No filler

Short listen with no fluff. Info is well laid out and very helpful. I'd been studying for a month already but this book helped cement a lot of info I was forgetting.

Reference was made often to tables or diagrams in the book that were not available.

It's not like audio books are a new thing. Many are done extremely well, not this series though. The content of the physical book is good; however, without an accompanying PDF document the references are useless. Very dissappionted. I had to buy another product.

Not Enough Information

This had a broad depth of information but it was very shallow on depth. Kind of like a little more than trivia factoids but less than Cliff Notes.

Audio Files Taken from Videos in Free App

You get what you're promised, a no nonsense, to the point study guide with all the right answers to the questions you'll be asked in the technician exam. However if you download the free Ham Radio Prep app, you get the exact same thing, plus videos and practice tests. Though the quantity is good, I kind of feel like I wasted a point...

very confusing

after each section it says to pause and take a practice test on what we just learned. There is no place/link to take so called test. Very disappointing being in bought this and no refund. I made an error and bought the next level (General) and no test either. Again, very confusing and waste.
