Publisher's Summary

Darryl Sims, a long-forgotten murderer, has been locked up in a maximum security prison for the last 20 years. Only when the family farm is repossessed for back taxes and sold to a megastore does the full extent of his heinous crimes, and the crimes of his son, Max, finally surface.

When the property is excavated, skeletal remains of women that have gone missing over the years are exposed.

Max is now on the run with Jade Monroe closing in. Worthy adversary that he is, Max eludes capture and continues his killing spree.

With Darryl Sims calling the shots from behind prison walls, Max has been given his most important task to complete. This final murderous act rocks Jade to her core and makes her question the very career she loves most.

So Disappointed

I listened to all the books in the series thus far. I was very disappointed in this book. The narrator is amazing and the only reason why I finished it. All the books in the series talk about Coffee way too much, I think that if you took out the coffee dialogue it would cut at least 50 pages of every book. The first few books in the series I really liked Jade but as the series went on she just really wears on you and you see that she really isn't this strong woman she is just selfish. I HATE when you have series that all the books could be a stand-alone and then all of a sudden you decide to make one that can 't be as the author did with Exposed. Even though this one left the story unfinished I have no desire to hear how it ends.
