Great story

I love this series because includes great romance, but most of all creates really good action inside the bedroom and iin the fighting arena.

Bram!

Mr. Grumpy, aka Bram O Donavan, gets the shock of his life when he goes to a restaurant for a work thing and ends up face to face with the girl who got away months ago. Only, something major has changed, and she's upset with him for leaving her.

Bram must get to the bottom of the confusion because he has zero intentions of letting her get away again. Oh, and also add in a protection detail as Addy has somewhere picked up a stalker who has plans of his own.

Great read.

Good story but…..

I really like to hear Teddy Hamilton narrate. Except this book. He cannot do an Irish accent which is what was needed for the main character. Disappointed in this, but otherwise the story was good.

Abandoned...Or not???

Adaline Harris and Bram ‘Excalibur’ O’Donovan spent 10 days together a few months ago, and when he returned home from an overseas job, she was gone. Bram couldn’t find her—her apartment was empty, she was no longer at her job, and her phone was disconnected. He assumed she was no longer interested in him, but he really wants answers. When he sees her again working in a bar and she hides from him, he realizes that something is wrong. He soon learns she has a stalker and he is determined to keep her safe.

There’s much more to the story, but you’ll have to read it or listen to it to find out about those details. This story will suck you in from the beginning. Bram was traumatized as a young adult and that experience haunts him and influences him to this day. Keeping Addie safe becomes his main focus, but she just wants to be loved as is, and not as a duty. These two have some issues to overcome, and with the help of the Sentinel Security team, they succeed admirably!

The narrators do a good job of breathing life into the characters through their storytelling skills. Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom are excellent narrators with a slew of audiobook recordings to their credit. Bram is an Irishman, and Teddy Hamilton’s portrayal of his Irish accent seems well done, but definitely not overdone There is one point toward the end where he sounds like an Englishman for a sentence, but for the most part, he sounds Irish. Stella Bloom portrays Addy and the other characters that she voices without any issues. This book is a delight to hear.

I'm not certain how I feel about this story. I liked the characters & understood the circumstances, it all made sense. I liked how some of the statements made in Steel foreshadowed events in this story. As I think more about it...I like the story overall & the narration was spot on.
