Loved this more than the first book!

I’ve been waiting for their story since the last book. I love these characters. This also had a reasonable length. Not too much time spent on one thing. Loved it.

The storyline

In both her books in this series I was able to stay hooked on the storyline and that’s super hard for me as reader

Was so excited to have sequel to One Killer Night and this didnt disappoint!! Loved it! Characters still amazing and twists along with great narration!

Just when Evie thought she was starting to heal from her past trauma and allows herself to enjoy life once more, her worst nightmare becomes a reality. And as she tries to figure out how to overcome this new trauma Evie takes us along a new gripping adventure keeping us at the edge of our seat. Trilina has done it once more, her brilliant mind has captivated our attention with this amazing thriller, and let’s not forget the amazing narrators whose talent brought her story to life. If you enjoy a great suspense romance that will keep you gripping for just one more chapter trying to figure out who the villain is then this story if for you. But of course in order to get the full experience you must read the first book since this is a sequel to One Killer Night

I enjoyed Chase and Evie. The plot was okay, sometimes the sequel just can’t beat the original. I loved the plot in book one, this one was kind of the same until the twist at the end. I loved the characters and their chemistry, the plot just lacked a bit for me in this one. The twist of who the “bad guy” was completely gave me Billy and Stu vibes, which I loved. But their whole monologue and their plan ended up being not well thought out to me. So there were definitely parts I loved and some that were meh. Still enjoyed it over all.
