very interesting

this was very interesting from beginning to end, I also really enjoyed the narration

Don’t quit until the end

I almost stopped about half way through bc I thought it was getting too repetitive …. Don’t stop There’s a lot more to come!

Pat was awful

I wish Pat was convicted of killing her husbands parents ! I know she did it

Loved it!

One of the best Ann Rule books I’ve read. This sorry had so many twists and turns and delved into the mind a horrible woman. Ten thumbs up!

Stunning!

This is such an unfortunate tragedy. I hope that I never encounter anyone like Pat. I know there are many people like her, and with her lack of empathy or remorse. Shallow and Hollow. I could not stop listening. It had me aghast at her treatment of her family and others.. The reader had a good voice for where this took place.

Great book, poor narration

I really enjoyed this story as I have all Anne Rule's work. However, the narration was extremely cringey. Her depiction of southerners was offensive. She spoke with an accent that sounded like a parody of southerners. No one talks that way! Her depiction sounded like someone from Cival war times or something, or perhaps the movie Gone With The Wind. it was ridiculous and took away from my enjoyment of the audio book.

It kept me guessing

A tragic story of an evil woman. It kept me wondering if she would ever pay the price for her crimes.

Good story but much too wordy

way too involved and long! Too many details ..Author would always preface the story too much and I'd loose the idea behind the tale!

Lived in East point at the time of this murder

Read this book years ago after it was published. Knew of all places mentioned in 1970s period. While living in NE Georgia mountains in early 2000’s, met a lay minister who knew Tom well through his prison ministry. Great story of the Redemption of a great man. Horrifying how much evil is among us all and we can be so blind to it. A well written, gripping, cautionary tale.
