Evil is alive

As usual I enjoy Ann Rule books! I like that you got to know everyone personally and truth about the victim, to everyone involved in the Trial! A true psychopath!

The depth of details about the people involved is ,as always, much appreciated.

Ann Rule is the best at digging into past and present details to bring forth the truth about the events that led to tragedy. It really helped to sift through all the lies told by a shameless, lying woman who should still be locked up.

broken family

It is tremendously sad for this to happen. The warning signs were easily missed by all the traveling. But the the end brings out she does not think she needs the help.

A little one sided

The author clearly has an opinion about who done what - not much attempt to discuss the other side of the story. As presented the evidence against lisa (spelled wrong here) is pretty overwhelming so maybe no point.
Overall very easy to read, interesting, shocking, un-put-Downable - great reader.

Ann Rule at her finest

This story is so tragic and so well told. True to form Ann told the tragedy as objectively as possible. It’s a great read!

Not What You Think

Ann's meticulous deep dive into Liysa's words and actions reveals the truth about this sociopath. Over my long life, I have encountered this same personality more than once. Histrionics buttressing lies spewed from evil that in some cases, like this one, end in death.

that psycho narcissist got away with murder. no doubt about it. a little slap on the hand and on she goes to do whatever horrible twisted tales she wants to. It makes my blood boil! she was no more an abused woman than I am. That in it's self just boils my blood. There are real woman out there that are physically and mentally abused by their husband, and they have an up hill climb to get away from it! it's narcissists like this beast that make it even harder for real woman to get help. I sincerely wish they would of locked her up for the rest of her miserable life!

Another Winner

Loved this book. Very well researched and written. The reader is excellent. Want to read all this authors books.
