Publisher's Summary

This wasn't supposed to be my life.

One phone call was all it took to bring me back to the small town I had grown up in. Everything had changed, and staying away was no longer an option.

Four and a half years later, I was a widowed single father still here, still trying to pick up the pieces. We were doing just fine on our own, my little girl and me.

At least, we were until Camryn Parker stumbled into our lives. The woman was like a tornado after a hurricane; she was the storm I never saw approaching. Behind her beauty and sarcastic wit, she was just as broken as I pretended not to be. As hard as I tried to resist, it was impossible not to fall in love with her.

In the end, it took nearly losing it all for me to realize everything I never wanted was exactly what I needed.

❤️ LOVE ❤️

A beautiful love story with characters that I fell in live with. Teddy Hamilton brought the words to life, making the connection between father and daughter so sweet that I wanted to be part of it. Callie Dalton spoke Cameron as if she knew her. This one is a keeper. I’ve never read K. Street before but I’m going to check out other books she’s written. Use a credit on this one, it’s well worth it!

Sweet and Swoony

Tucker is a single dad who on the surface is content with his life until Camryn shows up and shakes things up.

“...It’s life. You don’t get to choose your hand, but you can decide how to play the cards.”

Everything I Never Wanted is a sweet and swoony emotional story with a few twists to keep things interesting. I loved the narration and would definitely recommend listening to this on audiobook.

I was so hopeful

I love the Callie/Teddy narration duo after I fell in love with the Marianna Zapata books so I was very excited when this was an audible recommendation for me and even more so because it was included in my romance package. It started out pretty emotionally with a baby grieving for her dead mother. Very sweet and tender. The leads start out ok but then weird things happen. Plot points that dint really have all that much to them but are described as being so important. Pretty close to insta love by two people who are dealing with issues that make them want to avoid a new relationship but poof they are magically over that Finally the emotionally charged situation towards the end of the book is resolved with almost no thought and very little story before it’s over. The author writes this heart wrenching situation but then it’s like she got tired of the story so she just wrapped it all up. There could have been a lot more and better writing in the entire second half.

There were more than I felt necessary sex scenes and on top of that they were fairly boring I stopped paying attention to them sometime during the second one. That would be something I would like to see from this writer because she has a lot of potential. To have fewer sex scenes but write more sexy and erotic not necessarily more graphic. There was potential but not quite so many it just started to lose impact

I love these narrators and this story is the same. Normally Callie does a great job with kid voices this time less so. I know this was supposed to be a precocious little girl but she used almost the same voice as her adult female voice. Teddy was awesome as always

Definitely worth picking out in the romance package but I think I’ll go delisted to Marianna Zapata instead.

This book was everything I wanted!!! 💖💖💥💥

Teddy...Teddty..Teddy. .This was such an unexpected satisfying and sexy listen. Camryn and Tucker's story was really good... I was looking for a Teddy Hamilton audible; and found this one and loved it!!! Sweet, sexy and a lot of hotness. That's how I like them. You'll need some tissues too, just a few if you like the feelings books. Cause this one has a little angst, feelings, and hot romance. Not sure if this is my first K. Street book but I will be looking for others. Callie Dalton is still a newer narrator to me but I liked her in this book. The daughter Shane is adorable as well. It was worth my credit!!

I DNF

My gosh so much cussing. I could not finish not to mention the skipping of the audible. The narrators were ok but I just could not finish with all the cussing and straight vulgar talk between the H and h. If you can get pass that then you might like the story but I didn’t finish it.

Meh

I had high hopes for this book. I had put off listening to it for a long while but decided to give it a shot because I love Teddy Hamilton. But, it feel flat. It was kind of cute at the beginning but when I got to the car part, I burst out laughing because it was so wrong and for him to be a mechanic. What? Please, if you don't know anything about a subject then don't write about it or at least ask someone that does know about it first.
I had a good idea what was going to happen but when it did I found Camryn kind of week. I mean after all the cruel things Tucker said to her, she just pretty much sweeps it under the rug. And after some of the other stuff he did. I don't know how she forgave him at all. I feel like the author was just rushing the ending so she did a lot of telling instead of showing. It would have made the book better if she would have played the ending out more instead of rushing through it. I will read the next book in this series to see if it improves but that will probably be the last book I every read of K. Street.

Meh

I think this is the only audio book I said "meh" to and turned off an hour before finishing. The narrators creeped me out more than usual using the opposite genders tone and the story just seemed typical with no unique space aspect.
