Publisher's Summary

Every Thug Needs a Lady is the spellbinding sequel to Wahida Clark's Thugs and the Women Who Love Them.

After taking us through the rugged, thug-filled lives of Jaz, Kyra, and Angel, Wahida now takes us into the drama-filled life of their best friend, Roz, aka Tasha. She is sexy, beautiful, and torn between her desires to distance herself from the streets and the magnetic attraction to the irresistible and thuggish Trae Macklin, who acknowledges that mature women are a turn-on. Women come and go for a thug who is more about his business over everything else, yet Trae surprisingly falls head over heels for his business partner's woman, Tasha. Since the streets must come first, Trae decides to patiently wait for his partner's relationship with Tasha to come to nothing. Will Tasha and Trae's love ever get off the ground?

Love the story

This is not my first time reading this book and it never gets old. My sister and friends and me argued over who got trae and Kay for the longest lol. My only problem is one guy reading every part gets confusing, wish a woman could read the girl parts. He is doing his thing while reading don't get me wrong.

A different narrator would have made it more enjoyable

I read this book years ago when it was first published. One of my favorite books to this day. I normally don’t mind Carie Hite’s reading, but I was disappointed with this one. He makes my favorite character Trae sound like a straight lame. His reading also throws off all the intimate scenes. I’m actually disappointed in this one.

Love the narrator but the book was TRASH.....

Redundant to the point of making me want to scream. Could have been good if the writer didn’t repeat herself over and over again about tosh and trey sexual acts. Every chapter the author goes into a music or song selection, next how tosh catch him in a club he is not suppose to be at , then she get upset they have a little argument, try tell tosh what to do then they sex . Every chapter went this route but towards the end the author added Ky and angle but same seniero. No excitement not nothing just sex over and over again. I skip 7 chapters because of this and I only listen to the end because I wanted to know what happened to her other friends and because of the narrator and the fact that I used a credit for this mess.
