I Sure wish I'd like this more

As a Christian I feel terrible writing this but ultimately truth matters. I was looking for a "Feel Good" Christian mystery thriller. I just wish this were better written. The story is quite predictable; plot unreality abounds as in the fact that the bad guy could have been exposed by simply calling the media. I wish the Christian messages were more subtle. The bad guy is cartoonishly 2-dimensional, an evil villain with no nuance. Utterly despicable.

I think ultimately the best Christian thrillers are first thrillers like "The Green Mile." Even the great reveal of the secret message people died protecting doesn't really matter.

Performance not too bad. Hard to perform such material.

A Little Slow

You almost feel guilty criticizing a book with good content and values…..but it was just slow for me even narrator. I had to turn speed up a few notches. I get the parables and meaning but didn’t have the wow factor I had hoped for. Not sure I’ll try others in series.

Good Story

It was a good story, but some parts were predictable, and certain parts were not credible. Still, I'm never certain. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Christian suspense. Each character has a unique voice in the audio version.

Clean story with good values

I did enjoy the story in spite of a little editing needed eg "one lonely tear" is enough in one book, but then may not bother anyone else and certainly did not distract from the story.
The characters working their way through their faith was just right, not over the top, and not preachy at all.
First time I've listened to Maxwell Zener, who was a lovely surprise and look forward to more of his narration/performances.

Love the undertones and approach to telling timeless truths. Enjoyable story and easy to loose yourself in.

I finished this book in 2 days it was just that good! I can't explain how much I enjoyed this. It should definitely be a movie!

Great Christian foundation.

This is my first book from the author and she did a great job of writing an interesting story with a Christian foundation!

Great Christian Suspense

Great, clean suspense and without the romance trash, this is it. Good narrator. Highly recommend. Will read/listen to this authors books for certain. We need more like this.
