As usual....

Just like all of the Redwall series, another excellent book! I've read or listened to all of these books seveeal times and never get tired of them. Sometimes I even wish I could live at Redwall. I can almost smell all the delicious food being cooked there. I wonder what October ale tastes like?! Hmmm.... =P =)

intense and enthralling.. a real winner!

A hare maid on a quest, a young hedgehog thief in exile, a badger male enslaved.. and a vicious golden fox captain with his sights on Redwall abbey.. these fates are all intertwined in a dangerous and fast-paced tale of Redwall. This story is among the best in the series! listen, share and enjoy for, after all, such heroes are remembered here and good beasts are always welcome to know them here.

Not quite up to par

Would you listen to Eulalia! again? Why?

Probably not. The story hardly had anything to do with Redwall at all. Of all the main characters, only one of them was a Redwaller. I felt like Redwall only came into play when the main characters needed something. Shelter? Redwall. Help with the final battle (who cares that Redwallers are peaceful beings who, according to the story, have nothing but a poor medley of items barely counting as weapons)? Redwall. Not only that, but the characters were all over the place. It was like one of those stories where the characters are looking for each other but keep missing each other by looking the wrong way or walking in a different direction by accident.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The idea of the story was good. A badger imprisoned by sea rats hellbent on seeking revenge for his enslavement and the brutal slauter of his family, a hare maid of the long patrol THIS CLOSE to being kicked off the mountain, and a little misguided hedgehog booted out of the abbey for a season to learn some good 'ol life lessons all sound like a mix for a great story. But, as amazing as Brian Jacques is, much of the story felt forced and certain things just glossed over.

Have you listened to any of Brian Jacques’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've read many of his books and I've listened to many of his audiobooks. Performance-wise, this is just as fantastic as the others. It's so great getting to hear his songs actually sung and different voices for each character.
