Ophelia wants one thing. Love.
When she meets Ezra, she thinks she has found it—a community of women who live peacefully together and cater to one man. The concept of polyamory intrigues Ophelia, and she agrees to join.
Once she's in, the tables turn. It appears that becoming one of Ezra’s Eternal Wives is not precisely what Ophelia envisioned. The community? Not so loving. The wives? They stay to themselves, and the first wife, Malvina, hates Ophelia.
If Ophelia wants to escape Malvina’s wrath and Ezra's obsession, she must take matters into her own hands.
This is an extreme horror. Consider this a warning for all TW. 18+.

Eternal Wives by Lesley A. Camphouse is an extreme horror novella that would be perfect for spooky season. I am addicted to anything Camphouse writes. I decided to venture down the audiobook route with this one for my morning drive.
The book revolves around Ophelia in this adorable little meet-cute. Just kidding. Ophelia meets Ezra in a bar and is drawn to his charisma and his discussion of his polyamorous lifestyle. The thought of having a true community that cares for one another, where you live peacefully, draws her in, and she agrees to join him—mistake number one.
Once she joins this peaceful notion, she is clinging to, is shattered by a harsh reality. This is not a loving community; it's wrought with pain and abuse. The sister wives remind her daily that she must not speak unless asked to, and punishment for doing so is painful and very bloody.
I loved the twist at the end! Just when I believed there was going to be a happily ever after - BAM! Lol. Silly girl. I loved it! The narrator, Jennifer March, did a great job breathing life into Ophelia and the rest of the wives.
