Fight for Freedom

I have to be honest, I didn’t care for Skyler very much. I did like the overall story and the world building as well as the narration though.

Kyux and Skyler

Story: Skyler (h) is a women’s boxing champion who’s abducted and placed on a hunting planet to be hunted by Hennians as prey. Kyux (H), a Krocosian, is surprised to see a female brought to the planet, even if she is a strong fighter taking on three males who want her. He’s even more surprised to realize that she’s his mate, even if she isn’t interested in the idea. Their feelings and sexual tension between the two deepen and things get very hot and steamy between the two. Lots of action and adventures as Kyux and Skyler have to work together to survive and escape the planet and find their HEA.

Audio: Narrator was actually pretty good for both the male and female voices in this one.

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read (though I listened to it on audiobook) but got exciting pretty quick and I was hooked. Skyler was a boxer and got abducted and dumped on a planet used by an alien species to hunt prey- sentient species who could provide them with a challenge. While Skyler is fighting three males, another interceeds to help her. Kyux is an honorable male that was also dumped there and has survived on the planet longer than her. I liked that Skyler had fighting skills and she and Kyux made a good match.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by Hunter Wolf. I thought he did a good job with his narration and liked his voices for both Skyler and Kyux.

This is both the first book I'd read by this author, and my first listen by this narrator. I'd love to get more of them.

Kyux And Skyler

Both taken to a hunting planet to be prey. Skyler finds herself up against 3 men looking for company she’s not willing to give. When Kyux sees the 3 men attacking a woman, part of him wants to protect her and part wants to just keep his head down and stay alive. But his instincts kick in and he helps her. They work together to hunt for food and eventually come up with a plan to get off this awful (but beautiful) planet.

I love this series so much! The women are all super bad@$$ and most times more capable then some of the men (normally equal skill or different skills then the main hero).
