I’ve been swept off my feet before, and I’ve got the bruises to show just how badly that ended. I’m not about to fall at the feet of the next man - or alien - to cross my path. Especially not when he steals me away from home and wants to use me as his broodmare. Kloran is intense and sometimes scary. A prince of his people with a duty so deeply ingrained, it’s hard to see where it ends and he begins. But the glimpses of the man beneath the hardened warrior prince make me wonder if there’s something more between us.

Woke Sci Fi
Enjoyed the ideas offered in this novel about a pretty distant future after an Exodus from Earth which is only hinted at in book. The remainder of humanity is spread across and inside several moon-size beings. The author explores the societal structure of more than one community. The science is a little ???? In a few places. At times it felt too contrived and chaotic which is probably why I gave it a 4.

WOW...just WOW
This reminds me of hardcore, old school Sci-fy that came with a BITE! AND a social conscience! Drayden brought the sciences back to the Genre. These will be classics. Well read by both readers.

disjointed
nothing like the first book. the plot jumps around in spastic fits and starts. there's no continuity of character.
sex as the pivotal mistake is nauseatingly trite.
the voice actors are terrible.
I'm so disappointed. I looked forward to the sequel so much.
