I enjoyed the concept and execution of a plan well executed and adapted for a book that shares many of the basic and complex elements of such an endeavor…

where's the rest of the book?

Abrupt ending in the middle of the journey. the book was published almost 20 years after they sailed...so what did they end up doing?

good read...

Sailing from a young age it's nice to see (heer) someone new to the sport (life style).

Loved all of it and it was an easy listen. I am eager to sail now.

Escape from the Ordinary weaves humor and candor in equal measure. The richness and clarity of Bradley's description of this epic journey allows the reader to feel as if he or she is sharing a bunk on the sailboat and is embedded right beside Glen and Julie on their journey both on and off the boat. At the end of the story I was both very satisfied and left wanting more - so this story is definitely not enough.
