Escape from Bythos leads seamlessly into the novel The Path of Flames, detailing how Asho acquired his freedom against all odds and escaped the slave city of Bythos.

Short story but brilliant!

This is a short story about morals, courage, right and wrong, slave and master, a cave dwelling monster, and fate. It is short but has a lot thrown in there! It has all this and more!
The narrator has the perfect voice for this story!

It’s a start.

I’ve really enjoyed Phil’s other books and am looking forward to this series. This is just dipping a toe into that story, but so far, so good.

Not bad

I loved this story but couldn't stand the way it was being read. If it wasn't for the action it would have felt like a very long clear eyes commercial.

Better than good but not great

The voice acting is not to my personal taste, how the story is a bit above average good characters definitely enough to want to continue the series. Not as emotional as I would of liked. I’m sure there are better out there but this is still worth the read!

I enjoyed this book.

I enjoyed everything about this book and the Narrator for me was spot on to where i could understand him and wasn't trying to rush the words like other narrators. It seemed to have very constant flow to the book and flow with narration.
