Armon Ellington died on Earth and was transported to Terra, a world governed by rules eerily similar to the RPG games he loved. He found he could gain levels, skills, abilities, and magic just like he could in those games. In addition to finding a way to become more powerful, he also found the friends and family he'd always longed for. Unfortunately, he also discovered the pain of losing them.

When the Imperare Empire attacked the village of Restrian, they killed most of the kind kobold tribe that adopted him and took many of the citizens of Restrian as slaves. Now, not only must Armon find some way to free the kidnapped citizens of Restrian but he must find and rescue the few remaining members of the kobold tribe that adopted him.

there are some good parts and some funny parts but the whole story arch has become predictable. the caricatures shallow. yes they advance and yes they level but its over all amateur stuff. proped up on potter references and the cartoon network.... cute but it didn't get me to go for the third book. so overall it gets a three the first book gets a four. its just nothing special. I've the jack of all trades idea but come on the use of the combined skills is not there not and most of them are regular life ss anyway. its just not very well developed for book two and what seems to be a year and a half or even more of continual stuff.

just too slow

Great story, wish the parasite Mary who forced her way into Armon's life wasn't a constant pain. When did she start nonstop aggravating him? Also that veiled sexism where he is supposed to take it cause he is a nice guy is BS.

Why did Mary become a self-obsessed anal sphincter?
