I love this series

I have really enjoyed this series and the author is doing a great job with the stories . The narrator does a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life

good concept but so so execution

I liked the hero and heroine falling in love, the contrast of the declining English aristocracy in the late 1880s and the American culture. I did not enjoy the contrived scene of saving a lamb and being shot at for it, their constant bickering and the overused premise of I will never fall in love. Bad grammar and typos. The narrator has this annoying speech, always dropping tone at the end of every sentence

Cringy

This had very high reviews on Goodreads so I was excited to begin. It's an insta-lust/zero chemistry/cringy cliche love scenes story. The narrator struggled with the h's American accent. I'm sure it's very hard to switch back and forth between the two.
