A love story that sets the world on fire.... Literally.
Elizabeth spent her life preparing for the worst. As one of the fiercest MMA fighters in the USA, nothing scared her.
Until the dragons came.
To save her younger siblings, Liz makes a deal with the dragon prince sent to destroy them all. She also makes secret plans to take him down. But the more she learns and the deeper she gets, the more confusing things become.
The dragon prince isn't who she thought he was, and Liz begins to wonder what happens when an avenging angel falls for the devil himself.
If you like dragon shifter romance, then this totally unique new series will knock your scaly socks off.

I was not prepared for the MFC to _______ (towards the end of this book). I’m starting the 2nd book after I submit this review. My first time reading/listening to a book by this author… we will see how this goes, but right now she’s getting added to my list of amazing authors!
Solid 4.5 stars

MY TAKE
Engaging characters and creative premise. I love Liz's feistiness and how much she loves her family. Considering what the horrendous things the prince is responsible for, his only saving grace is that he appears to be teachable. He comes from a place where they think very differently. It makes me wonder how he will take the fact that he's murdered sentient beings. Families. I hope Baker makes it convincing because he shouldn't get off with it lightly, even if he's forgiven for his ignorance.
I'm not a fan of love triangles, but if you are, you'll love this book.
As always, Jennifer Jill Araya did a wonderful job with the narrating.
4 1/2 stars overall, rounded up to 5.
