Airy Fairy

Would you try another book from Susan Jeffers and Ph.D and/or Susan Jeffers and Ph.D ?

No, I did not like this book at all.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything NOT from this author

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I liked that it was only 3 hours long. This book had great reviews from others. I get the higher self thing but I need something a bit tougher than smile and the world will smile with you approach. Maybe I am too stuck in my lower self for this book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance....I was waiting for her to breakout into a chorus of Sound of Music.

Thought provoking reading

I had previously listened to "Feel the fear and do it anyway"also by Susan Jeffers, and so bought "End the struggle". I found it a very interesting book with many good suggestions and ideas. I had found "feel the fear" to be quite life changing - this book is slightly less so for me but is still excellent. I have listened to it a number of times and implemented those things that seemed right for me. Certain phrases in the book concerning choosing how you respond to events in life have been particularly useful and have passed into the family's vocabulary. Recommended.

Inspiring and well narrated

Lifts the soul to a higher kinder place. Breaks down the reality of being human with all our flaws.
Susan narration feels like a guiding light through the harshness of life.
Would recommend and re-read.

Thank You

A beautiful book replete with love, perspective and possibility. Personally, I love Susan's prose, it's comforting, focused and positive. If you feel tired of fighting life, tired of feeling sad this is a good book to start with. I'd also recommend SJ's earlier book, Feel the Fear and do it Anyway. A book that helped me change my life for the better:-). xxx

Disappointing after Feel the Fear

What would have made End the Struggle and Dance with Life better?

Feel the fear was uplifting, positive and energetic unfortunately this book made me sad, and miserable, the overall message seemed more negative than positive. Not her best book.

Yes

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

It made me very sad and unhappy. I was really disappointed as I was looking for something to follow feel the fear.
