The Horse and His Boy
Narnia... where horses talk and hermits like company, where evil men become donkeys, where boys go to battle... and where adventure begins.
During the Golden Age of Narnia, when Peter is High Monarch, a boy named Shasta discovers that he is not the son of Arsheesh, a Calormen fisherman, and decides to run far north to Narnia. Being mistaken for another fugitive, Shasta comes to discover who he really is and even finds his real father.
For the first time, the language of the seven classic books has been adapted for the Latin American listener and edited to ensure consistency of names, characters, places and events within the Narnia universe. In addition, they feature the original covers by Pauline Barnes.
Although it is part of a saga, this is a stand-alone book. If you want to discover more about Narnia, you can read Prince Caspian, the fourth book of The Chronicles of Narnia.

The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Bad voices. Malas voces
I’m so glad that the crónicas of Narnia was translated and made available to Audible. The reader has a good voice, but does terrible voices. Most of them sound Italian or from the mafia. One of them sounds like a bad imitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
