Quirky & Fun

An easy read. A fun, slow burn romance. A quirky, witty hero. A strong, independent heroine. Loved reading the behind-the-scenes of book and audiobook worlds! I love Danny Montooth's voice. Deva Marie Gregory did a fine job narrating Donna as well.

So much fun

I was introduced to Todd in the first book of the series, but I didn’t realize how much I’d fall in love with him! It’s not necessary to read book one to be able to keep up with this story but I’m glad I did.

Todd has the biggest heart and deserves nothing but the best in life. He’s light-hearted and supports the local single mom I’m town by buying the t shirts she makes and wearing them even though others give him a hard time about it. He learns bird language to communicate and just genuinely doesn’t care what people think of him.

I’m so glad Todd and Donna have the opportunity to have their paths cross and make each other better people! I couldn’t keep a smile off my face the whole time!

Just too cute!!!

I truly enjoy not only reading but listening to this love story. Todd and Donna are just dare too cute of a couple! The witty banter & sweet moments with each other, the simplicity yet such a peaceful description of sceneries they are in, the slow-burn of it all, & such a fun-loving type of book. Yup, this was such a endearing & somewhat a pleasant surprise for me. Not so much of the sex scenes but the storyline itself. It’s quite a good balance ROM-COM. The ending just gave me a big smile and boost of glee! You just can’t deny the quadruple of M.E. Carter and Andrea Johnston writing the series together is a great idea!!! I can’t wait to read the next book now, MODEL BEHAVIOR. ;)

The book itself was amazing, but listening to Deva and Danny bring the characters to life brought it to a whole new level! I found myself literally laughing out loud because not only was the line good, it was delivered so perfectly by the narrators. Absolutely loved it!

Ear candy is exactly right!

Pure ear candy! That is exactly what this book is! This story features Todd and Donna. Todd is part time audiobook narrator with the most dreamy voice! Donna is an author, best friends with the author Todd narrates for. These two get stuck in a cabin together and from their our slow burn story begins. It's funny in true ME Carter and Andrea Johnston style, so be prepared for the a lot of smiling and at times laughing out loud. But what is really captivating is the building romance of Donna and Todd. Todd is phenomenal, every woman's dream. Donna is scared, but not so much that she isn't going to enjoy him while she can. Will he win her over? It's fun, filled with romance and humor, flirty banter and is sure to make your heart happy.

Deva Marie Gregory brings her best to Donna. She is confident and knows what she wants, and Gregory uses her inflections to bring it out, as well as hide her vulnerability. Danny Montooth is fantastic. He brings it with his voice for Todd, but when he breaks into his "narrator" voice as Hawk Weaver, it's impossible not to swoon and giggle at the same time. This is cast perfectly!

I LOVE TODD

Omgoodness I love Todd!!! He has the absolute best personality. This is a great book and made me think about not judging a book by its cover. (Nothing to do with this book cover lol) The narration is great, I definitely recommend this book/series. HEA Next book in the series is “Model Behavior”

I loved everything about this book. The story is fantastic and the narrators did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. You will laugh and fall in love with this unique story. A must listen that you do not want to miss out on.
