Love the FMC!

Good story and characters. Voice actors did a great job! Already purchased the second audio book.

An absolute masterpiece—could not stop listening!

The performance was the best part of this audiobook. The narrator did a solid job bringing distinct voices to the characters and keeping a steady pace. However, the story itself felt a bit slow in the middle and dragged in several places. It is a decent, forgettable listen if you enjoy this specific genre, but it didn't completely blow me away.

Now that’s a start to the story

Dylan is an absolute beast. She is trained and brave. I love her whole family. I am so hooked on this story. I can’t wait for part 2. The guys banter is perfect. I can’t wait to see this play out. The audiobook was just as good as the book. The narrators did awesome.

Engaging characters

I’ve read all three available titles in this series and love them. Engaging characters, entertaining banter, and an interesting plot. Performance by voice actors is great. Can’t wait for news on the next book!

Good Sruff

I’m hesitant to write an extensive review. Typically, when the first book meets or exceeds my “definitely worth the credit” expectations, the next installment turns out to be crap.

I’ll say that I was pleasantly surprised by the world-building here. The four main characters, and even some secondary ones, are nicely fleshed out. The author didn’t make the LFC a “badass” only to convert her into a whimpering pile of goo when the MC affected her. That’s definitely refreshing. The author also refrained from using repetitive phrases, which drives me insane. So no “I released the breath I was holding” or “my heart skipped a beat”.

On to book 2!
