Engaging story, with minor issues.

I loved the world building, and apocalypse tropes are common because they're fun. I was mildly distracted from the story and world by the repetition of certain words and phrases. It wouldn't be as noticeable if it weren't that they are emphasis words, like "horror". The narrator was fairly smoothe, but he wasn't as consistent with the voices as I'd prefer. Overall, pretty fun for a YA book.
