No Boring Life for a Dragoneer
In my opinion these three books are much better written and laid out than the first three in the series. It makes listening to or reading the first three more than worth it to get the background information. The narrator, Christine Padovan, has also improved with the voices and pronunciations.
M.R. Mathias has done a nice job including enough background information to jog the memory or give riders who started with book 4 enough to understand the basic premise. He also does a good job at getting your heartbeat racing during the battle scenes and cringing whenever the characters venture into caves.
The main theme for the good guys include friendship and loyalty while the theme for the evil dudes is to cause chaos. Making for an entertaining story with lots of action.
The first book, Emerald Rider, deals with Jenka's quest to rescue Clover (Crimzon's rider) and King Richard causing havoc with a new clan of witches.
The second book, Rise of the Dragon King, takes place in two kingdoms. One in which former King Richard is let loose and the their subsequent war on the Dragoneer lands.
The third book, Blood and Royalty, is my favorite. Jenka & Zah's powerful daughter with the help of Clover and Crimzon have an oops moment which is actually worse than the exploits of former King Richard.

Any additional comments?
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast. I feel bad, but I couldn't listen to as much as I would have liked because of the narration. I tried several times because I wanted to listen to a boxed set, and because I wanted to be able to give a well rounded review from all angles. I couldn't do it, not worth a credit for the audiobook!

The Worst Narration I've Ever Heard
What would have made Dragoneer Saga - The Royalty Cycle Boxed Set: Books, 4, 5, and 6 better?
Having a narrator that can actually read the story properly.
What was most disappointing about M.R. Mathias’s story?
I'm disappointed that whoever produced this book did not have enough respect for the listener to hire a decent narrator
Would you be willing to try another one of Christine Padovan’s performances?
No, not unless she got some training in proper book narration.
What character would you cut from Dragoneer Saga - The Royalty Cycle Boxed Set: Books, 4, 5, and 6?
I don't know which characters could've been cut because I couldn't listen to the story for more than 30 min. The narration was so bad I couldn't even give a fair review of the story.
Any additional comments?
I tried to listen to this audio book 3 times. I couldn't get any further then 30 min. into the story. The narrator was terrible. I can't believe the author allow this to be put on the market like this. I really feel bad giving this book such a bad review, but the narration was so bad I can't in good conscience recommend this book to anyone. The story maybe good. But I could never get Past the narration long enough to find out. It was just too distracting and offputting for me.Note: I received a review copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The continuation of a great series
Where does Dragoneer Saga - The Royalty Cycle Boxed Set: Books, 4, 5, and 6 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I listened to the first box set and then this one back to back so it was a great continuation to the series.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I hate answering this question as you always spoil the story. The characters are all great. The story jumps around so you get enough of them to keep you interested and they are all well written.
What does Christine Padovan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Good narration that draws you into the world and makes you interested in the characters.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
No matter what you do, don't lose your dragon
