Publisher's Summary

Virginia St. George - of the dragon-slaying St. George dynasty - has the brains and bloodline that define her family's legacy, but she's never been good at following in their footsteps. She doesn't have the powerful magic every St. George is born with or the sword-wielding skills of the paladins - like her sister, Celeste - who bravely combat their fire-breathing foes. Even worse, a past tragedy has left Virginia with a crippling fear of dragons...and facing arranged marriage to an aging nobleman eager for heirs. But when Celeste is kidnapped by an infamous dragon clan, Virginia must make a daring rescue and defy the fear that has tormented her for years.

Virginia can't do it alone, and her only ally is the notorious criminal she's freed from her family's dungeon. Who better to guide her into the dragons' lair than one of their own? To save her flesh and blood, Virginia will risk her life - even if her first quest proves her final undoing.

A hidden gem!

If you could sum up Dragonbound in three words, what would they be?

A perfect balance

Who was your favorite character and why?

The MC. She's a hot mess! She grows into a great strong character, even if a bit flawed. It makes her even more entertaining!

Have you listened to any of Fiona Hardingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no I havent. She was wonderful though! I would listen to anything else she does!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I kissed a dragon and I like it?/ So my potential boyfriend's a dragon.../ Dragon down the family tree.../ His body is so warm... I want to touch his scales! What?!/

Any additional comments?

write more books and quickly turn them into audiobooks! Make sure to use the same narrator!

punch everyone in the face after reading this book

just start listening to this book and you with understand the title to my review after the first sentence. then prepare to completely murder this book in one day because you will be powerless to stop listening until the end. then you will probably do the same thing I'm going to do after writing this review. Google the author and hope there's a book 2. I doubt there is because the ending is perfect, but I can still hope. I know that I won't hesitate to get another one of her books if she has written others.

Two-dimensional tween romance novel

If you enjoy your romance without any veneer, here it is. Story lacks depth or character development; it’s just a vehicle for a transparent forbidden romance, offered without the effort of embellishment. The narrator is great, but her put-together and nature voice clashes a bit with a protagonist who is anything but.

Enjoyable

The story was engaging. The Narrator's voice for the main character was a little too...spoiled brat-ish...when she wasn't a spoiled brat. I did finish the story so it wasn't so off-putting that I quit before it was at the end.

this is a good book

I must admit that at first this book wasn't the best but reading on I didn't want to put this book down, I'm glad that I didn't this book got all my emotions twisted up in a ball and by in the end of the book I wanted to cry.

Not because this book was bad because it wasn't, this book was well written out and it wasn't because in this book the main character said the word 'Like' so many times that I either wanted to scream in frustrating or just stop reading completely. No it was because this book has depth and character that I wanted to read on. I am glad that I did.

I am hoping for a book 2 I'd like to know if they both figure everything out and stay together. I want to know if there will be a war against the dragons and humans? but more importantly.. I would like to know what Chelsea M. Campbell's has next to offer us. :)
