One of our all time favorite books ❤️

One of my favorite childhood books I have now just finished listening to with my children <3 this series will never get old :’)

Still one of my favorite books since childhood. The vivid imagery and lovable characters have always inspired me. I can't wait for the rest of the series to be on Audible.

The Most Cozy Dragon Book

I read this as a kid in the 7th grade (I'm almost 30 now). I LOVED this book then and I love rereading it now. I've always loved embroidery and sewing as my mom taught me as a kid and so always really loved that aspect of this book. dragons with odd hordes and lots of sass is my favorite thing. Years ago, around my early 20's, I was obsessed with obtaining a blue pair of shoes and always remembered vaguely that it was related to a really wonderful book I read. After recently re-remembering this book to an childhood friend, I decided to see if it had an audiobook version. to my delight, it did! after all these years, I still absolutely adore and cherish this book.

This has been one of my favorite series for over a decade. Now it being in audiobook form has made me very happy

Wonderful Story - Voices and Pronunciations Could Have Been More Accurate

This story (and Trilogy) is one of our family’s favorites. The reader overall does a great job and her voice matches exactly how we’d imagine the narrator, Creel. Two voices are quite off, however. Everyone I know hears Feniul as a kind of dragon C-3PO when they read the book. He’s quite endearing. Unfortunately, this reader slows his speech, makes it dull, and completely misses the mark. Also, most read Prince Luka as a quick witted but kind prince with a good sense of humor. He would sound proper but warm. The reader, however, reads him as a kind of stoner/joker and makes him sound completely immature. Since these are two main characters, it’s definitely a bit bothersome. Otherwise, the audio book is enjoyable and the beauty and fun of the story far outweigh a few inconsistencies in the reading!

A favorite book from my childhood I was re-listening to this wonderful tale on my work commute for a break from podcasts and the writing is still engaging to my adult mind

truly pleasant surprise

went into this book just hoping for a basic fairytale like storyline, clean and safe for kids ears and hoping for at least a decent plot.
what I got was a fantastic surprise of well developed loveable characters with true depth and grow to them.
A unique, fresh plot that had me dying to see how it would end for everyone involved. Several bold twists that I hadn't seen coming (I read hundreds of books a year an can usually figure out a book just a few chapters in) that delighted me and had me grinning in sweet revenge.
Though very safe for younger ears, it's well weaved series of intricate layers (much like a fancy constructed ballgowns) created a story that all readers an lovers of fairytales, adventure books an medieval romances could get behind.
The great humor and tounge in cheek descriptions were just the delicious & delicate embroidery on top of that already gorgeous gown. I loved the main and side characters and how they all ended up having much more to do with the plot and originally hinted at during their initial chapters!!
On to book two and I can't wait to see where it all goes!!

The book is fantastic!

In the several times I read this book, I not once pictured the heroine of the book to be a slow, depressed, sardonic teenager. I love the book so much that I gave it four stars but the performance of the person that read the book was so very off. I don't know if the lady that read the book was just trying to read it for the 1st time? Maybe that's why she paused so much and was so slow at the reading of the book? Sadly the performance really lacked! This is so sad for me because I have been emailing audible for years to please get these books in. So disappointing! But I love the author
